The Memorial Creation Process

The memorialization process begins when an individual or family member meets with one of our designers and describes the life of their loved one that is to be commemorated in stone.
The designer then prepares a drawing, often using symbolism to tell a story in stone, as shown in the Rascoe monument. Mr. Rascoe drove a truck for the company illustrated on the middle base of this contemporary monument. He enjoyed his motorcycle as evidenced in the carving. The cross illustrates his Christian faith.

From the design or scale drawing, the stone is ordered. Once received in our plant, our master carvers and sculptors use their talents to sculpt the stone into a personalized work of art.

A full-time erection crew sets our monuments using the most advanced setting techniques in our industry.
